Born and raised here in Ao Luek...
I'm Becky, and I'm proud to be from Ao Luek, Krabi.
Surrounded by the beautiful Andaman Sea in the southern part of Thailand, Ao Luek is a secret gem that is often overshadowed by Phuket, Patong, Koh Samui, Fullmoon Party Koh Phangan, Koh Phi Phi, or even Krabi itself.
Krabi's diverse area includes Ao Luek, which is right on the border between Krabi and Phang Nga. All travelers go through that cute little town on their way to or from the busy Phuket.
Than Bok Khorani National Park has beautiful mountains, unexplored caves, and captivating rivers all over Ao Luek, so it's more than just a rest stop.

Nature is in charge, and the people who live there are committed to protecting their valuable natural resources. Buddhism, Muslim culture, and Baba-Yaya heritage all live together peacefully in this town, which has a lot of different customs.
Ao Luek is in the mountains and has a beautiful, green scenery and lots of things to do. It is surrounded by a group of islands that kept it safe during the 2004 Tsunami by only letting high waves reach its shores. The waters around Ao Luek link it to Phuket, Phang Nga, and other parts of Krabi. This makes it an easy way to get to Hong Island or Koh Yao.
